My name is Janice Sand and I am a web developer residing in beautiful Athens, Georgia. I have been designing websites for over 15 years. In my previous career, I served as a public relations coordinator at the University of Georgia. One of my duties was to restructure, design and maintain two college websites.

I enjoy working with clients designing custom web graphics that are visually appealing and web layouts that are super easy to navigate. If you have an idea, I will work to make that idea come to life on the web. If you don’t have a conceptual idea, I can provide you with suggestions. My philosophy is to give my clients the best website possible at the best price and to have fun in the process.

I love designing and developing a website from scratch but that is not all I do. I can take existing projects and redesign/restructure them to your specifications. From creating a fresh new look to a complete redesign, I will work with you to meet your goals.

One of my favorite web development software programs is WordPress. It allows my clients the ability to manage their site without having any knowledge of html coding. Managing your website is as easy as using a word application. Each site using WordPress will incorporate an original look unique to you or your organization. I also provide both written and video step-by-step instructions so that you always have reference material at your finger tips!

My prices are very reasonable and I have a quick turn around time on most projects. Services include, but are not limited to: updating and redesigning an existing site; custom designing new sites; site maintenance; organizing files, images, and code for easy maintenance; editing site content; navigation restructuring; creating unique banners and images; cascading style sheets for uniform design across all browsers.

A little more about me…

In my spare time, I volunteer as the webmaster for Athens Canine Rescue, a non-profit volunteer network of foster homes. If you are looking for a wonderful canine companion, please check us out.

I am also an ex-officio member of the Friends of the Georgia Museum of Natural History. I assist them in publicizing their efforts, and those of the Museum, by designing a full color bi-yearly newsletter.
